It can be used to treat many types of cancers, including cancer of the colon, rectum, breast, stomach, head, and neck.Often the drugs are given through a needle in your vein, and your blood vessels carry the drugs through your body. Sometimes the drugs are available as pills you can swallow.
1. Irinotecan, sometimes combined with 5 FU.
2. Oxaliplatin, sometimes combined with 5 FU.
3. Capecitabine, sometimes combined with irinotecan or oxaliplatin.
4. Fluorouracil combined with leucovorin and oxaliplatin.
5. Fluorouracil combined with leucovorin.
