Sage essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of common or Dalmatian Sage. This is the same plant with that wonderful aroma found in semi arid regions the world over. The oil is is a pale yellow, with a warm, spicy, herbaceous and mildly camphorous aroma. Sage can be excellent for skin regeneration and as a mental stimulant.

Swirl in a quarter teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of cider vinegar.Swish the mixture around your mouth while it is still hot, or gargle with the mixture for a sore throat. Do not swallow sage oil, however, since it is not meant for internal use.
